Sewing Division Judging Will Be Based On The Following General Appearance : Design (suitability for material used, pleasing, interesting); Color combination; Originality; Texture combination; Cleanliness; Pressing. Fabric Workmanship : Cut on correct grain of material; Choice of neatness of seams, hems and finishes; Uniformity of seams, hems and finishes; Perfection of stitches. Unfinished hems are acceptable. Personalized labels should be covered with masking tape. Attach entry tag to upper right hand corner - front side of exhibit where practical and possible. It is the Responsibility of the exhibitor to enter items correctly. Items entered incorrectly may be subject to disqualification. There are “Other” categories for you to enter items that do not have an exact category. PLEASE NOTE: Items entered should have been made after October 15 of previous Fair. Items that have been entered in previous years will not be accepted. Exhibitor may enter only (1) item per class , Amateurs Only. Exhibits are to be brought to the Education Building Saturday, September. 25 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm and Sunday, September 26 from 12:00pm until 4:00pm Judging: Monday, Sept. 27 Exhibits released Monday, October 11 from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm

Amateurs Only - Individuals who DO NOT RECEIVE any income from sewing, teaching sewing, knitting, crocheting or smocking are eligible to enter Amateur categories. Those who enter Amateur are not eligible to enter Advanced. Department N - Section 101 - Amateur Adult Clothing
