Dear Friends and Fair Family, The Fairgrounds have been empty for far too long! When I step outside my office and I look around, I can feel the energy in the air! I can shut my eyes and imagine the sounds of music and laughter, the bright lights, cool nights and the smell of delicious food fills the air! Last year we had to play it safe and we missed you all! Our event “The Drive Thru” was a huge success thanks to all of you who craved a little “Taste of the fair”. We also want to send out a special “thank you” to all of the medical professionals, front-line employees, volunteers and fairgrounds staff who have helped us all get through the past year! We always seem to be at our BEST when we are faced with adversity! Whether you have been visiting the Fair for decades, haven’t been in a while, or you’re new to the area and haven’t been before, this year’s Carolina Classic Fair will certainly be, “Second to None!” We have all your favorites coming back and lots of new things, too! We’re also doing everything possible to ensure a clean, safe environment for everyone! It’s time to bring NORMAL back! It’s time to mark your calendars, October 1-10, 2021! It’s time to start planning what exhibits YOU want to enter in one of our many competitive exhibits categories! It’s time to decide what recipe YOU want to enter to win that blue ribbon! It’s time to decide WHO you are bringing to the Carolina Classic Fair in 2021! This is going to be a very special year! You’re invited to be a part of history!
