Circle F Farms - 1st Annual Registered Brangus Female Sale [5/3/25]

CIRCLE F FARMS Heifer Breeding Program At Circle F Farms, we realize the challenges that arise from buying heifers that are short bred or even recently exposed this time of the year and then potentially hauling those cattle across the country. This year we chose to take a different approach in an effort in ensure that our customers have a greater level of success with their purchase. The HBO period will last roughly 90-120 days. For an additional fee of $750 (due on sale day when you make settlement), purchasers are guaranteed a bred heifer that is confirmed pregnant through blood test or ultrasound. The buyer of any heifers that don’t breed will receive a full credit for the original price if she is not bred at the end of the HBO period. Essentially, this is opportunity ensure that your open heifers turn into bred heifers prior to delivery. HBO eligible heifers are notated throughout the catalog below their pedigree box. These females will be managed right alongside the Circle F replacement heifers that are being bred on the same timeline. Heifers will be AI’d once to a Circle F owned bull (see sales management for list of bull options - no outside semen will be accepted for use in the program), then turned out in a multi-sire group for no less than 60 days. The $750 fee includes feed, pasture, routine health, synchronization, chute service or parasite control at no additional cost. Semen and bull usage is also included as part of the $750 fee. Once a heifer is confirmed safe in calf, they will be deemed a sound breeder with no further guarantees from Circle F. Transfer of papers on any female in the HBO program will be held until the female is confirmed pregnant. In the event a heifer is not confirmed bred at the end of the HBO period, the buyer will receive a credit for the purchase price. That credit can be used in future Circle F sales in Baxley, Georgia. For the 2025 HBO program, any female not confirmed pregnant by September 1st will be considered a non-breeder and credit will be issued at that time. The $750 HBO program fee is non-refundable. Buyers are responsible for picking up and/or arranging trucking within two weeks of being notified of palpation results. Cattle left after that 2-week period will be assessed a daily boarding fee of $10/hd/day. Circle F is not responsible for any death or veterinary expenses incurred by heifers in this program. We strongly recommend that buyer secure mortality insurance on any heifer that is left at Circle F for the HBO program.
