Exceptional Smiles @ Landerbrook - October 2019

Start Listening to ‘Serial’ How have you not listened to “Serial” yet? This true-crime podcast ranked No. 1 on iTunes before it even debuted, won a Peabody Award in 2015, and holds the record for most downloads of a single podcast episode ever (over 340 million). The first episode of “Serial” is 53 minutes long, which means you’ll only be able to listen to half the episode before your crown is done. Don’t worry, you can listen to the rest on your drive home. Learn to Meditate With just 35 minutes, you can’t exactly run a bunch of errands, hit the gym, or get dinner ready, but you can give yourself a break from that long to-do list. You’re already tending to your oral health by getting a new crown placed, so give your mental health some attention, too. Multiple studies published in JAMA Internal Medicine found that mindful meditation lowers stress levels, reduces chronic pain, and can help fight depression. Download a free app like Calm or Headspace and enjoy a few minutes of inner peace. Ready to enjoy a durable, natural-looking crown in less time than it takes to order a pizza? Once upon a time, if you needed a crown to restore a broken tooth or address pain caused by decay, you would have to schedule several appointments and take multiple days off work or school. As technology improved, even same-day crowns could take hours to complete. Today, Exceptional Smiles at Landerbrook is thrilled to introduce our new zirconia mill! With this mill, our team can create your new custom crown in as little as 35 minutes. We know that’s not long, but we’ve come up with some suggestions to help you pass the time. Clean Up Your Social Media Page Here’s a secret: You don’t have to be Facebook friends with everyone you went to high school with. If you are tired of getting updates about What’s Her Face’s kidney stone drama, feel free to hit unfriend. Not interested in your uncle’s political rants? Unfollow. Still getting updates about that show you stopped watching six years ago? Time to start unliking pages. Take 30 minutes to clean house and make your social media experience a bit more pleasant. When you’re done, you can snap a selfie to show off your new crown.
