STUDENT EXPERIENCE
The Value Based Health and Care Academy provides the only Masters-level degree in Value Based healthcare in the UK. Despite my demanding NHS role and living in London, the blended online and in-person workshops allowed me to participate fully. The teaching has been excellent, equipping me with both academic expertise and practical skills. Thanks to this course, I have been given a secondment to a role where I can apply my learning and deliver real change. Additionally, I have made valuable connections with other students, faculty members, and guest speakers.

This course has provided an intensive yet rewarding exploration of the Value Based approach in delivering on an individual’s personal outcomes and implementing integrated services. The lecturers were supportive, and the practical application of knowledge gained was invaluable. I believe more social care leaders should have the opportunity to take this course to promote integrative approaches to health and well-being delivery and develop resilient communities.
