SAFETY FOOTWEAR
EN ISO 20345:2022 SAFETY FOOTWEAR
The EN ISO 20345:2022 standard outlines the requirements for safety footwear designed for general use. This includes protection against mechanical risks, slip resistance, thermal hazards, and ergonomic performance. Safety footwear must meet all fundamental criteria, such as measurements, construction quality, material durability, and resistance to external factors. Depending on the specific hazards in the workplace, additional requirements may be necessary. In these cases, the footwear must meet the relevant additional standards and be appropriately marked. Each MILWAUKEE® shoe’s specific performance ratings are indicated on the tongue label and the shoe box sticker.
