Love Beyond Walls Community Outreach During the Thanksgiving holiday season, the brothers from College Park Alumni Chapter partnered with the Love Beyond Walls community outreach program on November 27, 2024, to distribute the donated winter clothing and holiday food items such as fresh turkeys, can goods, juices, water, etc. to families within the surrounding area of College Park, GA. The drive’s success helped the program reach over 150 families in the community, driving an everlasting impact on the lives of citizens within the city. It served the chapter great pleasure to partner with Love Beyond Walls and take part in bringing joy to the neighbors in the area, and the chapter looks forward to the program’s partnership for future community events.

College Park Alumni Chapter Founder’s Day Brunch On Sunday, January 5, 2025, the College Park Alumni Chapter hosted the 114th Founder’s Day Fraternity celebration with a chapter-hosted Brotherhood Brunch at the Prime on Peachtree located downtown within the Atlanta Metropolitan area. The brunch featured restaurant-catered breakfast items served buffet style to the guests, live saxophone musical performances, and Macallan Company’s spirits and new product tasting available to all visiting guests during the celebration.

COLUMBIA (SC) ALUMNI CHAPTER Columbia Alumni Chapter in Valdosta, Georgia

The C. Rodger Wilson Leadership Conference was held from September 20 to 22, 2024, in Valdosta, GA. Valdosta State University was a remarkable event that brought together members of the Columbia (SC) Alumni Chapter, along with undergraduate chapters Beta Rho, Gamma Mu, Xi Pi, and Zeta Epsilon. This gathering was a melting pot of ideas, strategies, and leadership insights, creating a dynamic environment for learning and networking. The Columbia (SC) Alumni Chapter, known for its active participation and substantial contributions to the fraternity, was well-represented at the conference. The chapter's Polemarch, Torri Toland, played a pivotal role in the discussions, sharing his experience and expertise with the attendees. One of the highlights of the conference was the panel discussion featuring Polemarch Torri Toland. As the Polemarch of the Columbia (SC) Alumni Chapter, Brother Toland provided valuable insights into the nuances of balancing strategic and operational leadership styles. His contributions were not only informative but also inspiring to both alumni and undergraduate members. Brother Toland emphasized the importance of understanding the distinction between strategic and operational leadership. He explained that strategic leadership involves setting long-term goals, a vision, and direction for the organization. It requires a forward-thinking mindset and the ability to anticipate future challenges and opportunities.
