Savannah (GA) Alumni Participate in the Annual Miracle on May Street Toy Giveaway The Savannah (GA) Alumni Chapter proudly participated in the Annual Miracle on May Street Toy Giveaway, an event sponsored by the West Broad Street YMCA. This year, our chapter made a meaningful financial contribution to the YMCA, an organization that holds special significance to our members. The late Joseph R. Jenkins, a charter member of our chapter, served as the Executive Director of the West Broad Street YMCA, and his legacy continues to inspire our support for this community initiative.

Through our involvement, the chapter was able to directly impact over 150 families in the Savannah area. This holiday season, we helped provide essential gifts, including toys, books, and clothing, bringing joy and warmth to local households. It was a heartwarming reminder of the power of community service and the importance of giving back during the holidays. The chapter’s participation in this annual event not only honors our late charter member but also reinforces our commitment to enriching lives and strengthening the bonds of our community. We are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive difference and look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come.
