5 Read this text about inventions made by teenagers. Individually, put them in order of how useful and important you think each one is. Make brief notes with your reasons.

A When she was 12, Brooke Martin invented a remote- control gadget for people to give their pets food and to check they are OK via video chat. B One billion people around the world don’t have easy access to electricity. At 16, Ann Makosinski created a flashlight that gets its power just from hand movements. C Fifteen-year-old Angelo Casimiro also wanted to solve the problem of being without electricity. So he invented shoes that charge your phone when you walk. D Some people fall asleep and miss their favourite TV programme. Ryan Oliver (15) and Jonathan Kingsley (14) created a gadget that starts recording a TV show when it detects you have fallen asleep.
