Smart Grid. A new metering strategy with remote-read meter data in conjunction with behaviour-regulating tariffs, operational optimisation among users and detailed analyses of consumption.
Take-over and operation of customers’ connection units, so remote-read data can be used to monitor and optimise the systems. Temperature optimisation will be initiated in the district heating system. The flow temperature from the supplier will be adjusted to be as low as possible, taking account of the desired temperature for consumers. The temperature optimisation module takes account of the accumulated energy in the network and the load changes, which are subject to weather forecasts and consumer behaviour. The temperature optimisation module calculates the future required flow temperature as a time series.
Cooperation and coordination of optimisation measures with heat customers and suppliers.
Pipework renovation, to reduce heat loss from the pipe system. This will be achieved by lowering the temperature and switching to better-insulated pipes.
The user group, Albertslund Forsyning and policy-makers welcome the change to CO₂ -neut ral low- temperature district heating, which should ideally be effected with the least possible disruption to users.
