This is because district cooling companies have their own systems that are integrated with many other vendors and manufacturers. “Openness and interoperability are imperative. A guarantee of long-term accurate metering is vital in the UAE and is thus a main selling points for Kamstrup. Their state-of- the-art cooling meters are based on the ultrasonic measuring principle. This has been scientifically proven to be the most accurate and stable measuring method on the market. The flow sensors maintain their pinpoint accuracy throughout their entire lifetime and the long-term stability and accuracy of the flow sensor are not influenced by the flow velocity. Even if the nominal velocity is doubled, the long-term stability and accuracy of the flow sensor are unchanged.
