Howard Carter’s discovery of Tutankhamun’s tomb has inspired by Hollywood film directors for decades. Howard Carter was been hired by wealthy English aristocrat Lord Carnarvon for to find a tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt. However, after two expensive excavations with no any results, Lord Carnarvon was becoming frustrated. If Carter hadn’t persuaded to Lord Carnarvon to pay for one last chance, he would never ever have found King Tut’s tomb. In fact, it wasn’t Carter, but a young boy, who was being working on the excavation, who was discovered the actual entrance. The boy was digging in the sand when he found a one stone step. If it hadn’t been for this boy, Carter wouldn’t have had found the steps that led down to the secret chamber! On November 26 th , 1922, they finally were entered the tomb, where they found wonderful things. This was very fortunate because if it had been robbed as like so many another tombs, Carter would never have found the boy king’s wonderful treasures and the world wouldn’t have so such an interest in Egyptology!
