If you go to Istanbul, you must visit the Grand Bazaar – one of an oldest and largest covered markets in the world. With over 4,000 shops, you’ll find nothing you could possibly want buy, from furniture and carpets, to clothes and jewellery. Even if your not looking for everything in particular, the bazaar is a great place for browsing and exploring. It’s such big place, you can’t possibly see it all in one afternoon, so take your time and try to buy anything really special. It’s quite an art! Anybody can bargain with the shopkeepers, but little people get a really good deal. It can be so hot in the bazaar in summer than you start to feel dehydrated, so make sure you get a drink. A refreshing glass of mint tea or a sherbet – one of the world’s first soft drinks? It’s so a difficult choice! Lose yourself in the Grand Bazaar!
