Our students have been engaged and excited about the WIREGRASS Peanut Project. They have learned about the importance of peanuts to our area and also about the science and research that is critical to creating a better peanut. I am confident some of our students will pursue careers in the genomics field directly due to this work by HudsonAlpha. We are very thankful to be a part of this program.
