GUEST SPEAKERS & TRIPS HSDC offer a robust and bespoke Guest Speakers Series involving inspirational talks from local, national and worldwide employers. We also offer trips and opportunities to gain valuable work insight with real employers. VOLUNTEERING We can offer you support if you want to get involved with volunteering within the local community. As well as helping a worthy cause, volunteering can give you that competitive edge on your CV alongside real work experience in an industry that interests you. HIGHER EDUCATION & EMPLOYMENT FAIR Held annually, this event includes representatives from approx. 90 universities, gap year companies, company training schemes, apprenticeship providers and employers.This will give you a chance to network and find out about different progression opportunities to help you decide what your next steps will be.
CAREERS ACTIVITIES INCLUDING NATIONAL CAREERS WEEK
HSDC is dedicated to ensuring that all students progress with the tools that will enable them to thrive after completion of their course. Whilst studying with us you will gain sought-after employability skills through various activities and tutorial sessions held during the year and within National Careers Week. All students also have access to individual careers guidance with one of our qualified Careers Advisers.
