Wow, what a totally tubular Institute we had in Fort Lauderdale! The Wednesday Welcome Reception was enjoyed by all who attended out on the beautiful terrace overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, thankfully because Tropical Storm Mindy forced us inside for our Thursday surf and turf dinner. DJ Sama kept the dancefloor over capacity all evening while everyone danced the night away. Decorations were on point for the 80’s party and it was such a great time!
The costume contest was a HUGE success! Prince was in the house as well as the LIPS LADIES! The contest winners were Michelle Davila (Prince – Best Pop Icon), Tamika Mink (Best Dancer), Rona Erickson (Biggest Hair), Lewis Box (Most Original), and Vicki Danielson (Most Neon).
