We will do this by delivering sustainable new environments, with an emphasis on delivering new academic buildings wherever existing facilities are not consistent with our ambitions. This strategic ambition is being realised with capital investment across the 170,000 sqm estate across 16 locations. Significant projects include new and enhanced academic buildings for London College of Communication, London College of Fashion, Wimbledon College of Arts and Camberwell College of Arts. We are also developing our portfolio of UAL owned halls of residence. This major transformational change is exciting and challenging and the role is pivotal in ensuring the University has robust financial measures in place to anticipate and manage risks and ensure value for money. Purpose of Role University of the Arts London (UAL) is undergoing a once in a generation University of the Arts London (UAL) is undergoing a once in a generation rationalisation and redevelopment of its estate. This major capital programme involves the development of new campuses for two of its world-renowned arts and design colleges. The first phase of this exciting programme, a £200million state-of-the-art campus for London College of Fashion on the Olympic Park in Stratford, is currently under construction and will open its doors to students in 2023. The second part of the programme will see an equally ambitious new building developed at Elephant and Castle for London College of Communication. Initially focused on the Stratford project, the Project Manager (FM) role will form an important part of the major projects delivery team and will lead in the planning and execution of all Facilities Management Workstreams.
