Hello, ManhattanLife Agents.
As you may know, we recently came out with a 2.0 version of our website and Agent Portal. Why are we pleased to announce this? • We are pleased to announce that ManhattanDirect 2.0 allows agents to build an external link for clients to complete at their leisure. • This PowerPoint will discuss how to set up the link and send it to your clients.

Getting Started
1. Log into your Producer Portal /Agent Resource Center (ARC). 2. On your Dashboard, click “ Launch ManhattanDirect 2.0 ”. 3. From the Home Page of ManhattanDirect 2.0, click “ Settings ”. 4. From the Settings page, click on “ Create a Link ”.
NOTE : You can customize the link by using any of the multiple field options. The only required field is your new link name which is in the “Customize your NEW 2.0 Link :” field. The rest of the fields are available to use at your discretion.

A Little More “You”
1. You can maintain your individual branding on your Quoting Site by utilizing the “ Logo Image ” or “ Profile Image ” sections. 2. Click on the “ Browse ” button for each respective image and select the file you want to use ( Max size: 25 MB ).

Finishing Touches
1. Once you have completed the set up for your personalized quoting page, click the “ Update Settings ” button. 2. Copy the link and paste it into any browser to view your page. If you are not satisfied, you can simply edit the information. NOTE : After making changes, you need to click “ Update Settings ” to save the new information. 3. Your landing page will look like this:

Client Self-Enrollment
To begin enrollment, clients need to click “ Start Your Quote ” > enter their zip code > demographic information and dependent information (if any) > select the product and plan they want, then complete their application(s).
After your client completes those steps, you will receive an email advising you that a client has “ Self-Enrolled ”. It is your responsibility to acknowledge (or sign) the application. (This is acknowledgement is not required for DVH, DVH Select) See more on Slide #8
To approve the application, log into your agent portal, then launch the ManhattanDirect 2.0 site.
On the righthand side of the 2.0 landing page, above the section “ Create New Quote ”, you will see how many application(s) need to be approved as well as the “ Review Button .” ( See image on slide 8 ).

Client Self-Enrollment
5. After clicking the “ Review ” button, you are directed to a page with all policies that your clients enrolled into ( See B on slide 8 ). The applications that need approval will have a red exclamation point ( ! )in the Completed column. 6. Click on the “ Load/View ” button, to load the applicant’s completed enrollment information. 7. Next, if you click on the grey “ Agent ” tab on the right ( See C on slide 8 ), this should be the ONLY grey tab, if any other tabs are grey then the enrollment information is NOT complete. 8. Confirm your agent number is correct. Click “ Verify ” to ensure all information is correct. Click the “ Next ” button twice. Click “ Submit Application ”. 9. You will receive a verification email within 15 minutes if the application has been received by home office. If you do not receive this email, reach out to New Business: (800) 669-9030.

Bypassing Self Enrollment Acknowledgement
Currently the ONLY products available to bypass agent acknowledgement are DVH and DVH Select . To ensure a self-enrollment link is sent that does not require agent acknowledgement, please follow the instructions to follow.

Bypassing Agent Self Enrollment Acknowledgement
Currently this acknowledgment can only be bypassed when sending enrollment links for DVH and DVH Select. In order to ensure an acknowledgement is not required, please follow these steps. 1. Login to 2.0. 2. Select Settings from the main banner => 3. Select “Single Product Links” under Other Links =>

4. Select “Single Product Links” under Other Links => 5. Select the link besides Dental, Vision and Hearing or DVH Select.
Once the link has been completed by the client, the new business application will come directly to ManhattanLife for processing.
