The Key of Obedience “We ought to obey God rather than men" (Acts 5:29). “Obedience is t h e k e y to every door,” suggested George MacDonald. Another has said that “faith is the key that unlocks the universe.” It is a two-way key,' for “faith without works is dead.” With faith in God, we^rise to obeyi A special task is as signed .each workman. If we have ever done any hazardous climb- irig when footholds were precarious, we can appreciate this figure. An other interpretation is that after go ing through thick woods, and deep, dark chasms and gorges, He sudden ly brings us out into the open, where * vistas are w i d e and beautiful.. In Christ, God has indeed set our feet in a large room.—Upward.
