Hor- ace Knowles’s ownership inscription to front pastedown dated 12th May 1926. [40291] A sketchbook from the mid-1920s, shortly following the success of Peeps Into Fairyland and when Knowles’s star was rising. The subjects of this sketchbook are varied, but chiefly comprise archi- tectural drawings, scenes from na- ture, and anatomical studies. On a couple of loosely laid in sheets are studies of female nudes.
