Person Profile: Education and Qualifications Essential: • A recognised professional qualification / membership underpinning a relevant area of the service to be delivered. Desirable: • Qualifications in one or more of the following; o CEng, MIET, CIOB, MRICS, MCABE, MCIBSE, MICE, MIMechE, MIStructE. o IOSH / NEBOSH Specialist knowledge and skills Essential: • Broad working knowledge base encompassing range of service activities e.g. capital planning, construction, asset management, project management, soft facilities. • Familiar with computer aided facilities management systems. • Excellent IT skills with ability to work with IT specialists to produce fit for purpose facilities systems. • Strong project management skills. Desirable: • Familiar with Health and Safety legislation. Leadership and Management Essential: • Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills capable of leading and developing a high-performance, customer focussed team. • Proven ability to motivate and develop all staff and deal effectively with under performance by setting clear standards and actively supporting their maintenance. • Embraces change, communicates a vision, and drives a culture of continuous improvement. • Demonstrable ability to lead a multidisciplinary team through cultural and structural changes.
