Understanding the Impact of the EU Pay Transparency Regulations The EU Pay Transparency Directive is intended to address the persistent gender pay gap across the region. While other parts of the world have also taken steps in this regard, the EU has developed the most comprehensive suite of requirements requiring an equally comprehensive employer response. EU member states still need
to confirm details of their precise application of the requirements and as a result, what follows is based on the centrally agreed policy but please remember that there may be some local additions to this. It is important to also remember that, unless specified otherwise, the below will apply regardless of the number of employees in a country and will come into effect from June 2026!
