When you walk in the door you immediately notice the decor lends to its name, vin- tage. The space is adorned with leather tufted sofas, wingback chairs, chande- liers, and antique ashtrays; making it the perfect haven to relax and enjoy a
cigar alongside a glass of bourbon. Like all dreams, the road to the Vintage Cigar Room was rough and rugged. A career educator who holds a high-ranking position within the School District of Philadelphia, Clark would not be deterred in his quest for business ownership. “At the early stages of developing Vintage Cigar Room, there were many obstacles to face. The cost of ventilation systems, and hiring knowledgeable staff that were a good fit, all while balancing a full-time career. However, the largest hurdle came during the Covid-19 pan- demic. This was a hard time for many
