The Arc of the South Shore's FY22 Annual Report

In January 2022, we completed a $500,000 renovation of our group home in Braintree. We made health, safety, and aesthetic updates that allowed us to better meet the needs of the home’s five residents.

FOCUS ON CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTS Thank you to the Massachusetts Charitable Mechanic Association and George Washington Toma TV & Appliance for their generous support of our Pathways to Possibility kitchen renovation. Funding allowed us to update the existing kitchen, improving

safety, accessibility, functionality, and workflow. Now participants are able to enjoy weekly cooking classes.

In the fall of 2021, we replaced the wheelchair ramp at our residential group home in Rockland with funding from The Agnes M. Lindsay Trust and The Home Depot Foundation. “The ramp looks amazing! The residents were so excited. Getting the wheelchairs on and off has been so much easier. The residents are safe and able to be more independent. It’s been a game changer.” Karen, Residential Supports staff member
