Here at Shangri-La, we are fully committed to embracing gender equality and providing equal opportunities for all. To celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD), we are bringing our hotels together to host a series of special activities aimed at raising awareness, transcending unconscious bias and supporting women. Our colleagues enjoyed an engaging activity of Pizza Workshop at our IST TOO Restaurant, thoughtfully curated by our Executive Chef, Giovanni Terracciano. Participants beautifully crafted and baked their preferred pizza creations, fostering camaraderie and culinary creativity. Following the workshop, all attendees relished in the shared experience by indulging in the array of pizzas prepared. 💖 Additionally, we are celebrating IWD by partnering with a local women entrepreneurs' society, procuring handcrafted bracelets from them to extend gesture of appreciation to all our female colleagues as well as honoring and supporting the women in our society. As we continue our commitment to host people to the colourful joys of life in a sustainable manner, let’s collaborate to empower women to shine and collectively #InspireInclusion.
