Nice to hear from Winshill , where 8 sent 123 and Debbie Fearn took 1st, 2nd & 4th in her first race at the club. The winner on 1288 was a 2yo mealy pied hen ‘Domino’, her sire is a Vandenabeele purchased at a B/B in 2015 off Davis, Wright & Sons, he is a winner of multiple prizes, the dam is out of the ‘Hideaway’ and ‘Sweetie’ lines and she has bred prize winners up to 400 miles. Runner up on 1255 was a 4yo mealy hen, her sire is ‘39’ a full brother to ‘Tiger’ who was a multiple 1st prize winner and sire to many winners. Her dam is off ‘Sweetie’ the foundation hen in Debbie’s loft when paired to a cock from Tony & Lee Painter, again a breeder of many prize winners. Fourth Club on 1239 was another 4yo mealy hen, her sire is ‘22’ a multiple prize winner and breeder of prize winners. Her dam is out of the ‘Broken Wing’ lines. this pairing has produced many prize winners. Andy Wood took 3rd Club on daughter of ‘Greipel’ and the ‘Bolt’. SUNDRIDGE PARK FC

On the 13th April the Sundridge Park kicked off their season from Holmsley where 5 members sent 166 birds flying with the Thames North and Eastern Counties Flying Club where 51 members sent 1,276 birds and were released at 12 noon in a south west wind. Taking 1st & 5th Club on 1935 & 1907 was Jamie Williams. My first bird is a blue yearling cock raced on Roundabout with both sire and dam being bred by Fenech Bros. The sire is from a brother of ‘Rosita’ when paired to a daughter of ‘Blauwe Gert’ and the Van Loock hen, his dam is from a son of ‘Sagan’ when paired to a daughter of ‘Klein Duiverke’. My second bird is a two year old cheqer Van den Bulck cock also raced on Roundabout and was a winner last season. His sire is a son of Gordon Bros
