A materials shopping list is produced and available for every FrameUpNow PRADU, ADU, and affordable home and every custom-designed home. For the more than 200 ADUs available on the FrameUpNow site, you may download the materials shopping list and go shopping at Home Depot to estimate the cost of the materials necessary to complete your home. The BOM (Materials Shopping List) is FREE. The complete materials shopping list includes every illustrated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing schematic requirement as well as other essential details. The items necessary for completion of the home, such as flooring, cabinets, siding, wall board and more, are enumerated in the abridged materials shopping list, available on the FrameUpNow site for download. Take the list to Home Depot, make your personal choices, and price the items to determine the investment required to finish the home to your taste. Have it your way: An individual with DIY experience can do most if not all of the erecting of the skeleton and finishing of the home. Another approach is hybrid; DIY individuals and skilled trade contractors can each do what they do best. Some individuals may choose to use a general contractor for all stages, from slab to finished home. Either way, the construction of your home, from beginning to end, is predictable and easy to manage and the costs are containable.
