PROJECT X PHONICS
Fully decodable and matched to Phases 2–4 of Letters and Sounds, Project X Phonics is an ideal resource for children in Reception and Year 1 to practise and embed the phonics taught in class. Featuring the eye- catching 3D digital illustrations associated with Project X, the books in this series are perfect for motivating children to read either in groups or one-to-one. Every title has inbuilt partner text and teaching notes to ensure phonic activities can be practised consistently by teachers, TAs and parents. There is story text for adults to read on each page to keep the stories fast-paced and exciting, while the child is able to join in with the decodable text. The numerous activities provide plenty of blending practise, segmenting and forming letters to consolidate learning and support struggling readers.
Phases 2 and 3 are split into sets of three books. Each set starts with a book that introduces the letters and sounds and is followed by a fiction and non-fiction book to practice and reinforce their phonic knowledge.
