(A.M.E.) Office of Ecumenical and Urban Affairs leased 1,000 s/f at the Military Park Build- ing; AlDon Bryant of Hop- kins Sampson&Brown Real Estate Advisory Services, LLC served as tenant broker. The office represents theA.M.E Church in the World Council of Churches, the National Coun- cil of Churches and the Pan- Methodist Commission. It also speaks for the church on social action issues and also endorses its chaplains worldwide. Other new tenants include real estate firmMB Properties, which committed to 600 s/f, and Sunsoft Services, an IT consult- ing and strategic outsourcing firm, which took 525 s/f. “The Military Park Build- ing’s full occupancy milestone speaks to the overall progress being felt in the City of New- ark,” Berger noted. “Tenant activity here and at our other Newark office properties, new corporate development, local hotel construction, and the con- tinued evolution of Newark’s cultural and entertainment scene are creating a notable momentum.” Tenants at the 21-story office tower enjoy on-site parking, a fitness center, conference fa- cilities, and onsite ownership and management. The Military Park Building offers command- ing views of the surrounding city, New York skyline and Military Park, where a multi- million-dollar renovation is set to launch this spring. The prop- erty is proximate to Newark Liberty International Airport and major thoroughfares. It is within walking distance to the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and Penn Station, which provides 20-minute NJ Transit and PATH service to midtown and downtown Manhattan. n Morristown,NJ — G.S. Wilcox & Co. announced that the firm closed $17.6 million in mortgage financing. David Fryer , principal, assisted in arranging a $5.1 million loan for a 78,525 s/f Shop Rite and a $10 million loan on a 410 unit apartment project. The team of Gretchen Wilcox , president and Al Raymond , principal arranged $2.5 mil- lion in financing with a local Bank on a 74,000 s/f single tenanted industrial building in Teterboro. n G.S. Wilcox & Co. closes $17,600,000
