stretch of Route 70 to good use, Sign-ARama of Cherry Hill and Cartridge World teamed up to collect donated food items through the end of April. The impromptu food bank funneled donations to area food pantries, which were in replenishing mode after the holiday season. “My wife Janis and I saw this gaping space next door and thought about how we might be able to utilize it. A food bank seemed to be the perfect idea,” said Sign-A- Rama owner Chuck Eldridge. “We enlisted our neighbors, Thea and Marty Long of Car- tridge World, to participate and help us spread the word in the community.” Five van loads of donations went to the Food Pantry in Washington Township, Twin Oaks Community Services’ food pantry in Berlin, and the Cherry Hill School District, which serves more than 75 families in need. The drive was a great success and we appre- ciate all the donations. We will likely do this again. n Celebrate & network the night away at MIXX!
