Palm Done Right isn’t just a philosophy, it’s our approach to doing business. That means putting standards in place to make sure our palm oil is always done right. Palm oil products go on quite a journey to get from the farms to product manufacturers and formulators. After being organically grown in farms in Ecuador, our palm products travel through Ecuadorian mills, processing and storage facilities, before traveling to our North American and European warehouses via cargo ships. We have been working diligently to develop a supply chain that meets the highest sustainability standards, and set a solid quality assurance program to ensure

that all of the products and ingredients we produce are 100% organic, fully traceable, deforestation-free, wildlife friendly, fair and social. This is where third-party certifications come in. The US Departments of Agriculture and the European Union’s Organic certification programs, the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil and the Fair For Life standard provide clear guidelines for farmers and producers to follow. They involve annual, independent, and stringent audits to hold all accountable, so that manufacturers, retailers, and consumers can trust that the palm oil in their products is produced using organic, sustainable and ethical practices.

The National Organic Program (NOP) shows our commitment and our full adherence to the federal regulatory framework in the United States of America for organic products.

Fair for Life Certification assures that human rights are safeguarded at any stage of production, workers enjoy good and fair working conditions and smallholder farmers receive a fair share. Fair trade improves the livelihood of thousands of smallholder farmers and workers by providing the means for social community projects and empowerment of people. The Cosmos standard defines the criteria that we meet to ensure consumers that their cosmetic products are genuine organic and produced to the highest feasible sustainability practices. The Non-GMO Project is North America’s most trusted third-party verification program for non-GMO food and products. It means that a product is compliant with the Non-GMO Standard, which includes stringent provisions for testing, traceability, and segregation.

EU Organic shows our commitment and our full adherence to the principles of organic agriculture in Europe : heath, ecology, fairness and care.

The National Standard for the People’s Republic of China is the standard regulating our production and trade of organic products intended for the Chinese market.

SHOP SMART TO SAVE SLOTHS

Certificación Orgánica guides the Ecuadorian requirements for products to be produced with respect for the environment, nature and without chemical contaminants.

In May 2021, we started our partnership with The Denver Zoo to encourage consumers to Shop Smart To Save Sloths. Denver Zoo launched its new sloth exhibit in May 2021, which is home to 2 members of the Linne’s two-toed sloth species. At the new exhibit, awareness is created for Palm Done Right, which helps spread the word about the importance of sustainable palm oil production. Zoo visitors learn about the importance of protecting the sloth’s natural habitat and how they can contribute by making conscious product choices that help protect animal habitats.

Our Kosher certificate provides buyers the trust that our products comply with the strict policy of kosher food laws.

Unlike most palm oil producers and traders, we use the Identity Preserved model under the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil standard. We know exactly which farm each batch of palm oil comes from, and guarantee that the oil is physically separated from other palm oil throughout the entire supply chain.
