Marian and Paul celebrated a very special Mother’s Day….not only because it was during quarantine, but because they made legacy commitments through gifts of life insurance to support those Jewish organizations they care about including the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, Aventura

Turnberry Jewish Center, Beth Torah Benny Rok Campus, David Posnack Jewish Day School, Jewish Community Services and Michael-Ann Russell Jewish Community Center. And instead of flowers, Paul gifted Marian with a Lion pin. As one of Miami’s newest Lions of Judah, Marian said, “Paul and I could not imagine a more meaningful Mother’s Day gift than becoming a Lion and Forever Lion by establishing this endowment fund, a gift that will ensure the continuity of our community and will help sustain the valuable work of our Federation.”
Several years ago, Paul had already made a Heritage Society level legacy commitment. This additional legacy gift makes Marian and Paul Forever Pacesetters . Our two younger B’nai Mitzvah children who participated in the Federation’s Young Lion of Judah program and our two older
children who participated in one of our Federation’s family missions to Israel, are all products of our amazing Jewish day schools. We are proud descendants of
Holocaust Survivors and feel a deep connection, respect and love towards our heroes- all of our precious Holocaust Survivors — particularly as we remember and honor the life of our beloved matriarch- Elizabeth Kruss Z”L.
