Susan and I want to be remembered for our liberal philosophy, our love of our country and our love of our children and grandchildren. I am a product of Johns Hopkins Medical School and practiced medicine for 63 years. I started one of the first clinical research companies in private practice. I am a veteran of World War II and served as a naval officer on a battleship in the Pacific Theater of warfare. Susan is a native of Miami and attended Beach High and the University of Miami. She opened one of the first tennis boutiques. She devoted her energy to progressive causes including health care for all Americans.
