Sara and Nathan Gorn OF BLESSED MEMORY

Sara Gorn was born in 1912 and passed away on November 13, 1998 just after her 86th birthday. Sara’s husband, Nathan, predeceased her four years earlier almost to the exact day. Nathan graduated from Baltimore City College in 1927 and took evening courses in Business Economics at Johns Hopkins University. He was known for making humorous puns and witty sayings and affectionately called

“Nuny” by his friends and family. Sara was smart, strong willed, funny, and was described by her friends as being “always up for a good time.” Sara and Nat loved to travel and spent most of the 1950’s seeing the world. They toured Eastern and Western Europe, Africa (a Kenyan Safari), Japan, The Middle East (including Israel), Australia and almost everything in between. Sara and Nat spent their summers in Fire Island and winters in Miami. They were completely devoted to each other. Sara was distantly related to Suzanne Pleshette and Rodney Dangerfield
