HOW DO I GET TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT?
Upon arrival, guests take a 10-15 minute taxi ride from Exuma International Airport (GGT) to the Exuma Yacht Club . From there, Baymahni’s complimentary water taxi transports guests directly to the resort every 30 minutes from 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM . We support our local Georgetown taxi drivers; very safe, authentic genuine personalities and hard working Bahamians. If you prefer private transportation, please contact info@baymahni.com to arrange. IS CAR RENTAL NECESSARY, OR ARE TAXIS SUFFICIENT? Taxis are readily available at the GGT airport , and Baymahni’s water taxi is the easiest way to access the resort. However, if guests wish to explore Great Exuma’s attractions , renting a car is recommended. Please be aware that Baymahni is located on an island with no vehicles. If you rent a vehicle to explore the mainland; the vehicle would need to be parked in Georgetown, The Bahamas. CAN I BRING MY OWN BOAT TO BAYMAHNI? Yes, you can bring your own boat to Baymahni! However, please note the following important details: Docking at Baymahni - Baymahni can accommodate up to four boats under 30 feet, depending on your boat’s draft. The resort is located in a shallow bay, and access to our dock requires crossing a shallow area. Because of this, not all boats will be able to dock directly at Baymahni. To find out if your vessel can be accommodated - Please email us at info@baymahni.com. Include your boat's specifications (length, draft, type). We'll review the details and let you know if docking at Baymahni is possible. Alternative Docking Options Nearby If your boat is larger than 30 feet or has a deep draft that prevents access to Baymahni's dock, there are nearby marinas you can use: Exuma Yacht Club Located just across the bay from Baymahni, about a 5–6 minute boat ride away.
