To observe it in the life of a young girl is especially beautiful.

and tired, and asked when her holiday was due. On finding out that she was not entitled to one and was a stranger here, I remarked that I hoped she knew the Lord Jesus as a Saviour and Friend, and when the answer was in the nega tive, I had an opportunity of telling what He. was to me and what a recreation it was to feast on His promises and to know He had paid the penalty of my sins on the Cross and to know I was covered with His righteousness. Then 1 touched on the wonderful future He was preparing for those who love Him—and how after giving us the “gift” of salva tion He would reward us for the smallest service done out of love for Him. We read together John 1:12 and I asked her if she would believe on Him as her Saviour and her Sin Bearer, and receive Him into her heart. She joyfully said, “ Yes,” and added at parting, “Now I have something to rejoice in and look forward to.” Catholic Woman Saved A Roman Catholic woman attended one of our classes occasionally for two years, always attentive and devoutly crossing herself at the close of the meeting. Some times she would be urged to accept Christ, but she always answered that she did not understand. However, we noticed that her attendance was more regular and one day, with several others, she received Christ as her personal Saviour. Having withstood so long, we had doubts as to the reality of the trans action, but these were removed at a testimony meeting held a few weeks later, for she was the first to rise, con fessing to the saving power of the Lord Jesus Ohrist, her radiant face also tes tifying to the glorious fact.

In one instance, a sophomore in high school attended a session of the High School Bible Study Club. She was an earnest Christian, desirous of some day becoming a missionary, but meeting with no sympathy in her home. , At the close of the class she expressed her great desire to attend, but added that she would probably not be able to come again on account of the disapproval of her mother. After a brief explanation by the teacher as to the nature and purpose of the class, she counselled the girl to take the matter to the Lord in prayer and leave it all with Him. The next week she was again present and gave the fol lowing testimony before the class: “Last week on my way home I prayed earnestly that if Jesus wanted me to at tend the Bible Class He would make my mother willing. When I reached home, mother asked me where I had been and I told her all about the class and the lesson we had had. When I had finished, mother said, ‘Weir, I should think you would like to attend that class every week!’ ” Another girl, a senior, and also an earnest Christian, found her weekly mu sic lesson to be the obstacle in her way as it occurred at just the time the Bible Class met for study. She was eager to attend, but feared to ask her music teacher to change her schedule of les sons on her account. “So,” she said, “I prayed and asked the Lord what I should do. After taking my last week’s lesson, I was just wondering if I had courage to ask for a change of day, when my teacher
