in center. will praise God for having used them to answer her prayers, and will want to claim her for their own special pro tege and will want to see her through the three years of her course in the Bible school. How grateful we are for that loyal promise of prayer in the letter quoted1 above. Beloved, prayer is the secret of this truly wonderful work, and we trust that all who read this letter may resolve to join with the Young People’s Division of the Church of the Open Door and “ pray more earnestly for us this year than ever before,” that God’s work may be done, and that His name may be glorified. Most truly your fellow servant, FRANK A./KELLER. m m We are set to be constantly shining for Christ. What would be the value of a lighthouse with the light variable, sometimes shedding its warning beams and sometimes not? No one would be able to depend upon it and ships might well be lost through its uncertainty. “ Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

We shall pray- more earnestly for you this year than ever before. May this he the happiest and most fruitful year you have ever known. Yours in the Master’s service,---------- '■—> Secretary. It is hardly necessary to tell you how that money will be used. I am sure that you feel that God sent it through you for Grace Huang in direct answer to her prayers. Grace is now in the preparatory department of our women’s Bible school. Your money will pay for her board, books and inci dental expenses for the first half-year, and a voice seems to say to me that when the members of the Young Peo ple’s Division read the story of God’s answer to Grace Huang’s year of prayer, and look into her happy face, they vision and is to be used as you wish. ON AND OFF CHRISTIANS "Twenty-eight years, on and off.” It was the reply of a man to the inquiry of a preacher, “How long have you been a Christian?” "On and off.” It spoke of lukewarm ness, of instability, of unfaithfulness. He felt his life had been unsteady. He had been a true believer on the Son of God, but he knew that being a Christian really meant being a follower of Christ.
