T H E K I N G ’S B U S I N E S S Scriptures. In the above statement there is some foundation in Scripture, If Ezekiel 38 and 39 are carefully read, there will be found, at least, a three fold correspondence to the astrologer’s prediction. (1) The place where the battle will be waged will be "against the land of Israel” ; (2) The people who will compose the invading army come to the North of Jerusalem. “ The prince of Rcsh” is thought to be Russia, “ Gomer” to be Germany, “ Togarmah” to be Tur key, and the others are— “ Persia, Ethio pia, and Libya” ; and (3) the whole of the Northern hosts will meet with an overwhelming defeat. It will take “ seven years” to destroy the implements of war, and “ seven, months” to bury the BIBLE RANGES From a collection of all the passages in Scripture in reference to dancing it may be inferred: 1. That dancing was a religious act, both in true and idol worship. 2. That it was practiced exclusively on joyful occasions, such as national festivals and victories. 3. That it was performed on such oc casions only by one of the sexes.* ' 4. That it was performed usually in the day-time, in the open air, in high ways, fields and groves. 6. That men who perverted dancing from a sacred use to that of amusement were deemed infamous. 6. That no instances of dancing are found upon record in the Bible in which the two sexes united in the exercise, either as an act of worship or amuse ment.— Dr. Eadie. Some one has said— “ It is a higher honor to be able to groan over the lost than to shout over spiritual levity.” A true child of God who is in real fruitful, Divine fellowship will certainly know what is meant by groanings which cannot be uttered.

complete control of the sea. In time of war It would merely be necessary to put guns on these merchant ships, as was done in 1812, and they would become men-of-war. “ Why deceive ourselves? Until hu man nature changes men will fight .whenever they feel that they have a cause, regardless of weapons. Human nature has not changed in many ttou- sand years— in fact, since Cain slew Abel. Man is the most difficult animal in the world to manage. Nations which will not fight cannot exist. The writer believes that if the Chinese were an aggressive, fighting people and had an efficient fighting fleet there would be no Far Eastern question and no need of an international conference to elim inate causes for war in the Far East. We may see a “ world war” in the Far East simply because China does not have battleships. “ From these historical facts and ar guments, we are forced logically to con clude that total disarmament will not prevent war.” ^ ^ m iH NO MORE WARS (?) “ An astrologer, who s'gns himself ‘Sepharial’ , writing in the ‘British Jour nal- of Astrology’, says that the year 1926 is des ined to shake the world to its foundations, both physically and politically. After general trying mis fortunes, he says, there will be a battle of Armageddon, with the entry six years later of ‘the Mighty One o f Israel.’ The great final conflict, he says, will be waged against Mahomedanism allied with the Bolsheviki, which will push in the direction of the Holy Land, where north of. Jerusalem, the fight will be carried to its prcdest ned end. Four great Powers wi'l be allied against the Anglo-Saxons, which will be gathered again from all parts of the earth. There will be a Brltish-Israel victory in the end, and uni/erEal peace.” Statements must be' tested by the
