Pull-studs
CLASSIC PULL-STUD ARRANGEMENT This arrangement of the clamping modules always optimally positions the pallet to be changed. The Zero-Point pull-stud (Shown in Red) functions as the primary locating feature, locating the fixture in two axes similar to a standard round pin. The Timing pull-stud (Shown in Blue) serves to locate the third axis similar to a standard diamond pin. The Undersized pull-stud (Shown in

green) provides no locating or centering function, to not over constrain the fixture, but provides the same clamping force.

OPTIONAL PULL-STUD ARRANGEMENT The exclusive use of timing pull-studs compensates for stronger temperature influences. The reference point always remains in the centre of the pallet. Of course, temperature influences from machine processing can generally be ignored since the heat generated is conducted away by the chips and coolant. Timing pull-stud 2
