The synergy, provided by the three elements which comprise the Mondoturf FTS3 System, grants exceptional biomechanical conditions on the field for playing or practicing sports, and provides the maximum confidence at an ecological level. In addition, excellent shock absorption— vertical deformation and energy return is achieved based upon the biomechanics. Surface interaction is optimum for spike penetration and traction. Ball bounce and rolling effects are similar to those of the best natural grass. 4NX MONOFILAMENT FIBERS 400 micron thickness is unique within the industry. This insures improved elastic memory, durability and tear resistance. 4NX offers a new two-tone color that enhances the fiber to a more “natural” appearance.

IMPROVED MONOFILAMENT The new 4N X fiber maintains the excellent and successful concept of the semi concave structure with triple asymmetric spines perfecting some of the features of the 3N X , which substantially improves the technical and sports capabilities of the Mondoturf artificial turf systems. The new product, backed with a double coating of polypropylene and polyurethane guarantees a strong tear resistance of the fiber.

THERMAL COMPARISON The following table shows thermal images and their statistical data taken on two adjacent fields, one infilled with Ecofill ® and the other with SBR. Both images were taken the same day, with the same meteorological conditions and sunlight angle. Areas B and D are natural grass. LESS RADIANT HEAT EFFECT • Compared to Ecofill ® , traditional black rubber granules will increase the temperature that radiates from the field by 79.8%. The extra heat that radiates from fields with traditional black rubber granules increases fatigue and discomfort reducing the athletic performance.
