This plan is an embarrassment to Central Washington University, and an embarrassement to the administration of Central Washington University. If some of the resources expended on this nonsense were released to the academic units, we could do some good for our students. Sadly, instead we are creating "Strategic plans" built on hopes rather than on data, modeling and critical thinking.

The strategic enrollment plan seems light on details and long on general strategies. How are we actually going to implement those strategies? What resources will they take? When looking at KPIs, how will we attribute those to specific resources?I was particularly disappointed in the lack of detail about modeling assumptions in the document. How are forecasts being done? What numerical/quantitative assumptions are going into those forecasts?
