Central Washington University Board of Trustees February 22, 2019 ACTION - Auxiliary Services 2019-2020 Housing and Dining Rate Approval Business and Financial Affairs seeks authorization to increase the room and board rate up to 5 percent in the aggregate for the 2019-2020 academic year (fiscal year 2020). The proposed rates are in accordance with the comprehensive 30 year Housing and Dining Financial Master Plan which provides long term strategies to fund building preservation and enhancement, furniture replacement, improved security, as well as cover costs associated with utility rate increases, minimum wage increases, and planned salary increases. The President’s Budget Advisory Committee, Cabinet and President supported the draft request.
We recommend the following motion:
The Board of Trustees of Central Washington University hereby approves the Auxiliary Services Housing and Dining maximum rate increase, not to exceed 5 percent in the aggregate, for fiscal year 2020. Submitted by: Approved for submission:
