REMINDER: ALL BEACH PERMITS EXPIRE NOVEMBER 30 TH WE ACCEPT VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS, MATERCARD, DISCOVER, CASH OR CHECK PARKING ON SANIBEL Roadside parking is NOT permitted on Sanibel except in designated parking areas. Oversized vehicles are only permitted to park in designated parking spaces within Bowman’s Beach Parking Lot, Lighthouse Beach Parking Area and Trost Parking Area on the east side of Tarpon Bay Road. Overnight parking is strictly prohibited in all residential/restricted areas. PARKING PERMIT INFORMATION Beach Access Parking Permits are available at the Sanibel Recreation Center, 3880 Sanibel-Captiva Road during regular hours. To be valid, beach parking permits must be affixed to the lower front windshield on the passenger side. REQUIREMENTS FOR OBTAINING RESIDENT/PROPERTY OWNER BEACH & BOAT RAMP PARKING PERMIT ONE OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED DOCUMENTS MUST BE PRESENTED AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE: • Driver’s License with a Sanibel address • A valid government issued photo identification card with a Sanibel address • Lee County Voter Registration Card with a Sanibel Address • Tax Bill with the Homestead Exemption for the Sanibel property, the property owner owns • Tax Bill with the Property Ownership on Sanibel • Notarized Declaration of Domicile Listing a Sanibel Resident PARKING PERMITS DECALS/FEES CURRENT VEHICLE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO OBTAIN ANY BEACH AND BOAT RAMP PARKING PERMIT OR LEASE AGREEMENT WITH THE NAME OF RESIDENT OR PROPERTY OWNER ON THE LEASE PERMIT IS ONLY VALID FOR ASSIGNED VEHICLE. • Resident “A” $14 Resident/Property Owner (Beach) • Resident “AC” $113 Resident/Property Owner (Beach & Boat Ramp) • Non-Resident “B” $300 Non-Resident/Non-Property Owner (Beach) • Non-Resident “BC” $399 Non-Resident/Non-Property Owner (Beach & Boat Ramp) • Transfer or reissue $3 (Resident and Non-Resident) NEW VEHICLE TRANSFER DECALS Current permit holder may obtain a replacement Transfer Decal for only $3.00 when purchasing a new vehicle PARKING REGULATIONS ARE STRICTLY ENFORCED
