At Swansea, our research changes lives. We are not afraid to tackle large issues, and have made a positive impact globally in areas such as the climate crisis, preserving ancient monuments, and improving health. We have led on the UK’s largest ever Seagrass restoration project, monitored global drug policies to enact change, used big data to reduce self-harm and suicide, and even developed buildings that generate, store and release their own energy. Many of our researchers also teach on our courses, so you will benefit from their knowledge and experience as part of your studies. You could even become part of a research team, helping to explore, prevent and solve global issues.
