We are responsible for the societies, sports clubs, events, a series of services and an Advice and Support Centre to help you make the most of your time here. We also hold elections each year where we elect a team of 6 full-time officers to ensure your voice is heard by the University. They
represent you in all things – Education, Welfare, Societies and Services, Sports, and Welsh Affairs!

We have faculty and school reps too – these are students who work with the uni to handle anything students may face whilst studying. We also run the shops and bars on campus – JC's, Costcutter, and Fulton Outfitters. All the money earned at these venues is reinvested back into the student experience. The Students' Union also organises a number of unforgettable events such as Freshers' Week, Summer Ball, and Varsity... to name just a few!
Being at Swansea, is being a part of a community and belonging with your fellow peers. It is a place to thrive, grow and develop into the people of tomorrow. As students at Swansea, you are automatically members of the Students’ Union! We are run by students for students. We’re a registered charity who are responsible for making your student experience here at Swansea the best it can be.
