OUR SPORTING FACILITIES Swansea University offers state-of-the-art health and fitness facilities for students at Swansea Bay Sports Park (next to Singleton Park Campus) and Bay Campus. Both campuses have an extensive range of equipment, exercise classes and indoor and outdoor activities to help you reach your goals. The 50m National Pool, available to all, has been used by athletes preparing for Olympic and Paralympic games and is currently home to Swim Wales’ high-performance programme. Our football teams have access to a world-class training facility at Fairwood which is the main training ground of Swansea City Football Club. The University is also home to the Shed, a high-end strength and conditioning facility for elite athletes and teams, which the New Zealand All Blacks have used as a Rugby World Cup training base.
