NOTES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS We welcome applications from prospective students from around the world. If you are an international student you can apply to Swansea via UCAS, through one of our overseas agents or by using our online application form. Full details of how to apply can be found at:
YOUR OFFER If you receive an unconditional offer from Swansea, this is your confirmation of a place. If your offer is conditional, this means that you will be required to achieve certain grades, and your place will be confirmed once you receive your results. If you do not receive the grades you were hoping for, we will still do our best to confirm your place, or offer you an alternative such as a foundation year or closely-related course. More information about our admissions policies and procedures is available at:

If you would like advice on whether your qualifications are suitable for your chosen course, please email

and we will be happy to help. If English is not your first language, you will be asked to pass an approved English Language qualification. As well as the ELTS test (with a minimum score of at least 6.0 overall, with at least 5.5 in each component – see individual course webpages for information), we also accept a wide range of other qualifications. A full list of accepted English Language tests can be found at: swansea.ac.uk/admissions/english-language- requirements/
INTERVIEWS Some of our courses, such as Medicine and Healthcare, will ask you to attend an interview before an offer can be made. If your chosen course requires an interview, this will be confirmed on the course grid. All details of your interview, including dates and what you will be expected to prepare, will be sent to you as part of the application process.
