INTRODUCING STACEY D. STEWART AS NEW CEO Stacey arrives at a moment of urgency for the organization. As data from NHTSA reveals impaired driving will reach its highest levels in over a decade & that alcohol-related crashes are once again the number one killer on American roads. In this role, Stacey will continue MADD’s mission to prevent people who are under the influence from getting behind the wheel, to improve safety on our roads and to support the victims and families whose lives are forever changed by this preventable crime. Ms. Stewart is a transformational leader with extensive experience leading purpose-driven non-profit & for- profit organizations, marked by strong strategic acumen and an ability to drive new growth for organizations with rich legacies. ONLINE PEER CONNECTIONS GROUP LAUNCHING THIS MAY The Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) peer connections group offers a dedicated time for victims that have been impacted by drunk and drugged driving to come, listen, share and offer coping strategies for others. We hold a virtual location, without geographical boundaries as a safe space where individuals can grieve, connect, mourn, and heal while celebrating and honoring passed loved ones. The hope is that by attending, you will be better able to process your grief and make connections to other survivors at different points on their own grief path. These meetings are at no cost and participation is voluntary. We'd love for you to join us and others on your healing journey.
