SILVER MEDAL : 90 points

Judges Comments A wine layered with florals and lifted new oak. The densely concentrated fruit flavour in the wine is wonderfully supported by ripe and chewy tannins. It is a complex wine that is striving for a long finish and a faultless structure. Some bitter-sweet edges mark it down but overall a cleverly concocted wine.

BRONZE MEDAL: 89 points

Judges Comments Shows distinctive varietal traits of apricots and peaches on the nose despite a little bronzing of colour in the glass. The palate is weighted nicely with generous fruit on the mid-palate providing plenty of length which is extracted from the chalky phenolics.

BRONZE MEDAL: 89 points

Judges Comments A display of some subtle spices and red fruits whilst carrying an edge of confectionary aromatics. The dry and restrained palate is slightly short on acid freshness but holds a good amount of chalkiness on the palate. Stylistically it is on the right track.
