Aythaya Vineyard was Myanmar’s first vineyard and is located in the village of the same name. Set among sloping hills that form the southern most extension of the Himalaya Mountain range. This location provides excellent terroir with calcareous soils at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level where rainfall is not excessive. The original vines used to start the vineyard were imported from France in 1999.
